Marinanow.com Presskit 2015

Marinanow is an online platform for discovering and booking berths and boats throughout the Mediterranean.

Founded in 2012 by three colleagues with a huge passion for the sea - Alessandro Sestini, Paolo Codina and Andrea Corvaglia, who together have over 25 years in marinas – it allows users to check for availability of a berth and to compare prices directly from a pc, tablet or smartphone in 1300 marinas (of which 400 officially affiliated).

It also allows users to discover and book in a few clicks one of over 4300 boats moored throughout the Mediterranean, with a huge choice of sailboats, motorboats, catamarans and RIBS both with and without crews.

Whilst searching for a berth of boat you can find out all the services and nearby businesses to the port: from mechanics to sail shops, from supermarkets and laundries to restaurants and beauty centres, tourist offices, tour operators, diving and activities.

Marinanow allows guests to book and pay online immediately without having to pass through the complicated booking processes of the port and without having to set up a complicated bank transfer.

Marinanow, financed in 2013 with €300.000 from angel investors and the fund United Ventures, is currently incubated in The Net Value, at Cagliari.
