On the Mount Everest of performance performmaster tunes the AMG C 63 (S) to 612 hp and 840 Nm / 620 lbf ft

Many drivers will think they have conquered Mount Olympus when they drive a series 205 AMG C 63 or even a C 63 S, either as a saloon or a spacious estate. But as any experienced mountaineer will know, Mount Everest is in quite a different league, and in terms of performance at least currently found at a village near Stuttgart, where performmaster is offering its PEC tuning module for the afore-mentioned AMG models. Currently, the test bench results for either read 612 hp / 450 kW and 840 Nm / 620 lbf ft. This shortens the span needed to get from naught to 100 kph from 4.1 seconds to 3.8 and from naught to 200 kph from 12.7 to no more than 11.4.

When compared with the standard AMG C 63 (476 hp / 350 kW and 650 Nm / 479 lbf ft), this is 28% more in term of hp and 29% in terms of torque. And even if should be the standard AMG C 63 S (510 hp / 375 kW / 700 Nm / 516 lbf ft), it’s still a steep climb. While the serial C 63, incl. the S, even with the Driver’s Package only reaches between 280 and 290 kph, the performmaster variant goes up to 310 kph. Never in the history of AMG Cs has there ever been so much power and drive.

These impressive values notwithstanding, our package of joy is very “durable”, too, and has a lot of safety features and reserves. Only a warm engine will provide full power and the engine management receives real measurements and sensor readings to avoid critical situations. “Made in Germany, TÜV approval, non-destructive engine assembly and possibly one of the most extensive warranty policies in the market reveal the all-round carefree concept behind the PEC tuning module,” says performmaster boss Udo Heinzelmann with much satisfaction. And if they want the classic body of a sports car, performmaster also has a special PEC tuning module for the AMG GT (S), also providing 612 hp / 450 kW.
