Montblanc e-Tag: New Accessory Pairs Technology With Timeless Design
Luxury Maison takes the next step with the introduction of a device designed to protect personal belongings
Merging the world of fine craftsmanship with the latest technology, #montblanc introduces the new e-Tag, a key fob that protects personal belongings against loss or theft. This smart accessory balances functionality with timeless design, ensuring keys, wallets, or luggage are always within reach, while never compromising on style.
Crafted from European full-grain cowhide, the trackable key fob is available in classic Meisterstück black with a unique deep shine, soft grain black or soft grain blue leather, and engraved the #montblanc name and emblem on the key ring. Designed for the urban explorer who values technology, the Bluetooth connected e-Tag is easy to manage through the #montblanc iPhone application.
Combining the timeless design of a #montblanc leather good with the life-enhancing technology, the fob features a number of useful functions including:
- Locate: Items with an e-Tag attached to it can be located within proximity of the owner.
- Range alarm: When the e-Tag is moved out of the proximity of the owner, the phone will sound an alarm by playing a #montblanc melody. The app will navigate the user to the last seen location of the e-Tag.
- Motion alarm: If the e-Tag is moved, it will trigger an alarm. This provides an immediate warning and gives the owner full control of his or her belongings.
- Reconnect alarm: the phone notifies the owner if the e-Tag comes into range again, for example if checked luggage appears on the carousel.
However, the safe zones functionality ensures the alarms are not triggered when not needed, for example at work or home.
With its simple yet sophisticated design, the e-Tag complements #montblanc leather goods, demonstrating that the technology can be effortlessly combined with highly crafted pieces.
The #montblanc e-Tag comes with a USB cable to charge the device.
