Peugeot Design Lab: surfing the wave of success with a new website and Instagram account

The #peugeotdesignlab website is being given a facelift. The projects completed since the Global Brand #design studio opened four years ago are enhanced by more intuitive ergonomics and updated graphics. This new website has had a makeover and has been optimised for tablets and smartphones. And for a closer behind-the-scenes look at the studio, an Instagram account has gone live today.

Peugeot #design Lab is a Global Brand #design studio. The international teams of designers, engineers, image editors and graphic designers based in Paris, Shanghai, São Paulo and San Francisco put 200 years of industrial experience and 120 years of automotive expertise at the service of internal and external clients, in all business sectors outside the automotive world.

Peugeot #design Lab’s expertise is recognised in very specific, demanding sectors such as tableware, watchmaking, furniture, lighting, urban mobility and aerospace, etc.

“In four years, we have completed a real mixture of different projects: surfboards, pianos, tramways, helicopters, food trucks, bicycles, electric scooters, aircraft seats, watches, moving models, miniature cars and pepper mills, as well as sculptures, furniture and lighting exhibited during Milan #design Week. We want to improve our website and make it the best possible showcase for these projects,” explained Cathal Loughnane, Manager of #peugeotdesignlab.

This new website is now easy to navigate on a #smartphone or touchscreen tablet. The graphics are immersive with larger visuals and bright colours that enhance the details of each project. The vertical arrangement of the sections and more personal texts make it easier to access information.

Peugeot #design Lab is also launching its Instagram account today in order to share style drawings, project photos and ‘making-of’ sections, as well as behind-the-scenes glimpses of the Studio.
