Nissan technology leadership continues with introduction of Intelligent Rear View Mirror on 2018 Armada SUV

New Intelligent Rear View Mirror1 uses rear-mounted camera to "look around" typical interior obstructions, such as tall passengers and cargo
First-ever Nissan application on 2018 Armada Platinum model; also exclusive in full-size non-luxury SUV segment
The mirror's built-in LCD monitor provides expanded field of view and improved visibility in low-light conditions, allowing the driver to feel more confident when maneuvering in a variety of traffic conditions
Driver can easily switch between intelligent and traditional mirror functions

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Following the recent announcement of the advanced ProPILOT Assist™ and Rear Door Alert (RDA), Nissan is launching another innovative technology in the 2018 model year – the Intelligent Rear View Mirror (I-RVM). I-RVM adds a built-in LCD monitor within the traditional rearview mirror to help provide clear rearward visibility unimpeded by traditional obstacles such as cargo, tall passengers or the design of a vehicle.
