Dometic introduces trio of innovations for its roller blind systems at Autumn shows
Dometic has introduced innovative new products and developments across three roller blind systems – Manual, PrecisionRise, and Powered - further enhancing the onboard boating experience. The products will be presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival (PAN315), Southampton International Boat Show (J400) and Genoa International Boat Show (TD10).
Dometic's innovative roller blind platform provides privacy and precise light control, customisable with colours, fabrics, and hem bar options to naturally integrate into almost any existing Marine interior and features three variations in control system.
The Manual roller blind system variation offers straightforward, easy to understand and quiet operation. This combination makes it user-friendly for people of all ages with simple operation via chain drive system.
The newly introduced PrecisionRise platform features a unique control mechanism allowing users to easily set and secure the blind at any given height without the use of any control cables or intrusive wiring, by simply raising or lowering the hem bar to the required height. This makes the system completely child safe and allows for quick and easy light, UV and privacy control.
During its development, the new control mechanism within the PrecisionRise was tried, tested, and adapted to ensure the blind stays in place even in the roughest waters, as well as resists any environmental changes that may affect the positioned height of the blind.
Along with its own brand Atlantic & Pacific motors, #dometic has now also introduced compatibility for Somfy and Lutron motor options within the #dometic Oceanair Rollerblind Powered platform. This third control variation allows for a wide variety of motor configurations to be selected and provides high levels of component optimisation. For boats with an existing automation system, the Rollerblind platform can now be effortlessly integrated utilising these new Somfy & Lutron motor options.
Dometic's roller blind systems are modular and available with a bracket, mounting profile bar or cassette, allowing for quick and simple installation for both OEM's & end users alike.
