#toshiba Europe GmbH today announces the Satellite Pro A30-C, Satellite Pro A40-C, and Satellite Pro R40-C. Designed specifically for use in education and for small and medium businesses, the range enables increased productivity and efficiency whether working in the classroom, office or on the move. Available in 33.8cm (13”) or 36.6cm (14”) sizes to suit every type of worker, the new range provides an option for every organisation backed up by high levels of reliability and the reassurance of over thirty years of #toshiba laptop development.
All new Satellite Pro models are designed with businesses in mind from their lightweight design to the range of configurations and features included. The Satellite Pro A30-C, A40-C and R40-C all feature 6th gen Intel® CoreTM processors to deliver the optimal combination of performance and battery life, now offering more wireless technology for docking and displaying. To further maximise productivity and reduce glare, all models also include a non-reflective display for use outside or in brightly lit offices.
The Satellite Pro A30-C and Satellite Pro A40-C
The 33.8cm (13”) Satellite Pro A30-C is a constant companion empowering students and professionals to work from wherever they are while the Satellite Pro A40-C, with 36.6cm (14”) display, offers an ideal balance between mobility and productivity as a desktop replacement if desired. Slim, light and easy to carry, with a vibrant HD or Full HD display, both are mobile laptops that never compromise on performance, connectivity, or durability. The working day battery life of up to 8 hours1 keeps the Satellite Pro A30-C and A40-C going all day too for maximum productivity and freedom away from the desk.
In addition, both the Satellite Pro A30-C and A40-C models feature Toshiba’s Reli
ability Guarantee2 so organisations can buy in confidence knowing that in the unlikely event of a failure, #toshiba will provide a free repair and a full refund – making it a risk free purchase. To install further confidence throughout the life of the product, both models have been H.A.L.T3 (Highly Accelerated Life Test) tested by independent German institute TÜV Rheinland® to simulate three years usage to ensure they are built to last.
Businesses can be assured their information and data will be kept confidential due to the optional inclusion of a Smartcard reader for secure login and Trusted Platform Module 2.0 (TPM) for data encryption. In addition, the Satellite Pro A40-C benefits from a fingerprint reader for an extra layer of peace of mind. When a user does want to share information, they can do so easily via the range of dongle-free, full-size connectivity options including HDMI® and RGB for making presentations, USB 3.0 and an SD card slot for transferring content at speed, and Intel® premium Wi-Fi ensuring users can access everything they need on the move and quickly.
The Satellite Pro R40-C
Perfect for secondary schools and SMBs, the Satellite Pro R40-C featuring a 36.6cm (14”) non-reflective HD display provides an affordable entry into the features needed for essential business computing. Delivering everything pupils need for everyday education and designed to withstand the daily wear and tear, the Satellite Pro R40-C is a flexible, robust device. Extensive connectivity to match that of the Satellite Pro A30-C and A40-C empowers users to store, share and present without the need to worry about additional dongles or cables. Data is protected thanks to the 3D HDD impact sensor in case of accidental drops while a silent, full size keyboard is suited to those who want to use a desktop replacement for high productivity levels.
Designed for dedicated business use, but also with the environment in mind all models are EPEAT certified, with built-in Eco Utility, allowing users to take control of their environmental impact. IT administrators can quickly and easily customise the settings to maximise power efficiency, minimise energy consumption, and reduce the impact their organisation has on the planet.
