IBM continues to advance and stretch the boundaries of what Watson can do, which includes embedding cognitive capabilities into new form factors such as robots.
#hilton and #ibm have collaborated on a pilot project to debut the first Watson-enabled hotel #robot concierge named "Connie."
Connie draws on domain knowledge from Watson and WayBlazer, a Watson ecosystem partner, to inform #hilton guests on local tourist attractions, dining recommendations and hotel features and amenities.
This is just the beginning, and Connie is learning. Each interaction with a guest is an opportunity to teach Connie new information and expand its corpus of knowledge.
Based on the knowledge gathered from this pilot, #ibm can continue to advance cognitive technology and help accelerate the solutions its partners can bring to market.
