Wiko announces a significant move at MWC 2019

This year the brand is taking things one step further. #wiko makes a significant move in its international deployment, relooks its logo, and introduces the next generation of the View series with #view3 Pro and #view3.

International expansion: #wiko enters in the USA
Created in 2011, the brand is now present in more than 30 countries in Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia.
In its historical markets in Western Europe, #wiko successfully maintained its top 4 position within a very competitive #smartphone environment in 2018. #wiko is #3 in France with 12% market share and #4 in Italy with 5% market share. Present in Asia, the brand can claim the 5th position in Thailand with 10% market share4 and more than 3 million users.

Pursuing its global expansion, #wiko enters the North American market opening 2 offices in Dallas (Texas) and Atlanta (Georgia). As a first collaboration with Sprint, the 4th largest mobile operator in the USA5, #wiko will launch a new device in the coming weeks.

The brand enters a new stage of its transformation
Strengthened by the support of a large international group, created 8 years ago in the South of France, the #wiko brand reaches the age of maturity.

To be ready for tomorrow, the group invests in 5G technologies. These laboratories efforts have been rewarded by a Red Dot Award in 2018 for a 60GHz Wi-Fi router providing a transfer rate of up to 1Gbps. The group is getting prepared to launch a complete 5G ecosystem of products in 2020.”
