'CREATIVE CLIMATE CARE'. Graduates of the University of Applied Arts Vienna will perform their projects at the MAK GALLERY

A COOPERATION BETWEEN THE MAK AND THE UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED ARTS VIENNA

CREATIVE CLIMATE CARE

POP-UP EXHIBITIONS

In the context of the new exhibition cooperation CREATIVE CLIMATE CARE, graduates of the University of Applied Arts #vienna will perform their projects at the MAK GALLERY in five consecutive pop-up exhibitions. These projects will focus on pressing issues regarding climate, environment, sustainability, and the essential contribution of #design, architecture, and art towards a new mindset for active climate care.

The projects were selected through an invited competition in which 20 graduates of the University of Applied Arts from the last five years participated. A jury of representatives from both institutions chose the five exhibition concepts by artists from the fields of industrial #design, fine arts, painting, animated film, architecture, media art and transmedia art, as well as sculpture & space. Furthermore, a graduate from the field of graphic #design was assigned the task of designing the visual identity of the exhibition series.

At the same time, CREATIVE CLIMATE CARE is the starting point for the MAK GALLERY to permanently perform as the CREATIVE CLIMATE CARE GALLERY in the future.
