Assisted docking has arrived!
AZIMUT YACHTS LEADS THE GLOBAL CHARGE IN ADOPTING THIS GROUNDBREAKING NEW SOLUTION
First, there was the joystick, then the stabiliser, followed by the integrated monitoring system, all solutions that at the time were new and innovative, but today no boat owner could imagine being without.
At #azimut Yachts, we pride ourselves on being pioneers when it comes to identifying and implementing new technologies that improve boat comfort and handling, and today it is the moment of Assisted Docking.
The #azimut Atlantis 45 will be one of the very first boats in the world to benefit from this cutting-edge technology, designed to ease the task of docking by taking into account external forces such as the current and wind to keep the boat on course, even in the trickiest conditions
The Assisted Docking system is the result of an integration of Volvo IPS pod drives and the company's GPS-based Dynamic Positioning System via an advanced new software.
The first Atlantis 45 to include Assisted Docking is on show at the Palm Beach International Boat Show from 25 to 28 March and will be available on other #azimut models which are equipped with Volvo IPS.
