The wheels are in motion. We've set out to create a mapping ecosystem — collaboration on a global scale, where data from partners, customers, communities such as OpenStreetMap and thousands of other sources is collated and validated. The largest, richest pool of geolocation data on earth, to map reality as closely as possible.
Which means software-defined cars will be supported by the freshest, most up-to-date data backed by our super sources; electric vehicles will go further thanks to community-sourced details such as charging points and in-vehicle automation, and navigation will lead the way with on-road probe and sensor data.
