Save and Sound returns to Steam in September

The yearly celebration of music in games is opening submissions today

Aalborg, Denmark - June 14th. Bedtime Digital Games, an award-winning indie studio is happy to announce  the return of their Save & Sound Steam #event. The 2023 edition, the third one of the festival, will take place from the 11th to the 14th of September, with the submission opening to participating developers and studios today.

Save and Sound is a non-for-profit Steam #event that celebrates music and sound in games, by offering three days of video original content provided by game developers, composers, and musicians. This content is paired up with a Steam page where the participating titles are grouped together, many of them with demos and special discounts for the occasion.

The goal of the festival is to provide extra visibility to the music and audio professionals behind the games, and also help  players learn about this area thanks to interviews, audio deep dives, musical mash-ups and much more.

Previous participants in the show include Lena Raine from Chicory: A Colorful Tale, Piotr Musiał from Frostpunk and award-winning Darren Korb from Supergiant Games. The #event is opening their call for developers to submit their interest today, so studios and game developers can take part in the festival.

Submission for content opens today, June 14th, and will close on July 10th, midnight CEST/ 3pm PT. Developers are encouraged to consider which type of content they want to submit, but also to send their own ideas if there’s anything specific they want to do for the #event

The #event will be featured on the front page of Steam for four days, providing extra visibility to the participating games.
The impact of #saveandsound in previous years include:

- 1 Million+ views on the sales page
- Up to 3000 wishlists in per title
- Up to 7000 game unit sales per title
- Up to 4000 soundtrack unit sales per title
