Planium, Getting Lost among the Waves

A patch of oceanic blue expands, you see red-hot lava making its way, opening a passage or a galactic nebula, floral motifs, inlaid shapes, light, dark, opaque, brilliant up to the shadows of the earth. The color reveals itself, turns and then denies its sight, landing again elsewhere.

Metal sheets that allow the colors to emerge, in more or less intense shades. Like the surface of water that ripples, expands and then changes appearance, here are our creations.

PLANIUM has investigated the soul of Metals, exploring their infinite potential; it perceived them in their becoming, it felt their movement. The alteration of them, through OXIDATION, is an inebriating process, which enchants those who live and experience it.

The knowledge of Metal surfaces, their characteristics and their beauty, studied over a long period of experience, have generated the conditions and the opportunity to go further and create again. A whole dimension has emerged that opens up in splashes of color, in a new materiality, in the fusion of unexpected sensations that unfold together in original slabs and designer objects. Each sheet is carefully chosen and prepared for the subsequent transformation that will make it unrepeatable: from conception to creation is implemented through the skilful use of laser cutting and controlled oxidation techniques.

For over 20 years we have covered areas in prestigious contexts around the world, in the public and private sector: hotels, showrooms, points of sale, fairs, museums, car and motorbike dealerships, offices, banks, schools.

We offer an inexhaustible palette: the precious and warm notes of Copper and Brass, the variegated accent of Stainless Concrete, of Oxidized Steel and the Luna texture or even the unpredictability of Calamine.
