ALCAR by Schrader: New tyre pressure monitoring sensor

The new “ALCAR by Schrader” will be available to dealers in July. ALCAR YOUR WHEEL PARTNER, market leader in the European automotive steel and alloy wheel aftermarket, and Schrader International, leader in the global valve and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) market, have joined forces to launch a new sensor for direct TPMS. The new “ALCAR by Schrader“ sensor is a programmable sensor of the latest generation that can be easily operated with common diagnostic and programming devices. Thus, ALCAR Group’s customers will now be able to offer an additional TPMS product with high coverage. First-class know-how The ALCAR Group has engaged itself with TPMS and its consequences for car drivers and specialist garages for many years. Alexander Riklin, Chief Operating Officer ALCAR Group: “Direct-measuring systems with their independent wheel sensors prevail. We are forming a strategic partnership with Schrader International from which not only we will benefit but also the end customers, who will get first-class know-how and top quality with one product.“ Globally recognised competence Schrader International is part of the Sensata Technologies Group and has been a pioneer in the field of automotive and industrial valves and sensors for more than 165 years. With an OE share of more than 50% and more than 300 million produced TPMS sensors, Schrader is the global market leader. “Our objective is to provide tyre dealers and specialist garages with the best possible service and satisfy car drivers’ needs. We consider this strategic partnership as a giant step in this direction,“ says Alfonso DiPasquale Managing Director Schrader International GmbH. ALCAR considers TPMS competence the key to success Both brick-and-mortar tyre and wheel dealers and car dealers will benefit from this new TPMS sensor in the ALCAR product range. Given the complex TPMS requirements, car, wheel and sensor have to be exactly balanced. TPMS needs expert advice and expert programming by well-trained dealers, or it simply won’t work. ALCAR distribution companies all over Europe The new sensor will be available from all 16 ALCAR distribution companies and all ALCAR distributors in Europe. ALCAR customers can retrieve important new TPMS information and training materials in the ALCAR subsidiaries’ websites’ members areas. “With our wheel brands AEZ, Dotz, DEZENT, ENZO, DOTZ SURVIVAL and ALCAR STAHLRÄDER, specialist dealers will have it easy. After all, they are well prepared for an installation of all common sensors and, when taken together, provide a full and complete range of products,” Alexander Riklin concludes.
