Dual Arm #robot System (DARS)
ITRI is showcasing its new Dual Arm #robot System (DARS) at CES 2021. DARS has two slim #robot arms and human-like hands, featuring high freedom of movement, payload ratio and precision. The arms are made of composite materials and the hands can hold a variety of objects, even if they are soft or irregularly shaped. Its control system integrates a variety of robotic software functions, thus providing human-like operating capabilities to perform diverse tasks, such as even playing an electric piano.
Technology Breakthroughs and Features:
- Many axes and joints allow for more flexible movement.
- Long arms can reach far and perform versatile tasks.
- The human-like hands both have five digits with shape adaptability.
- Advanced sensor technologies and machine learning algorithms mimic human dexterity with high precision.
