Tech Up For Women in partnership with #ifa Berlin has expanded to the consumer technology arena. The conference program provides an opportunity for women to network with top leaders, researchers and influential women in the field of technology. “We won’t be going back to the way things were. We’re going forward”, says Keynote Speaker Barbara Humpton, President and CEO of Siemens USA. “And we’ll need women who recognize the power and potential of technology to help us shape the future.”
Another Keynote Speaker Dora Palfi, CEO of ImagiLabs, notes: “For technology to benefit everyone we need diversity among its creators. Technology provides solutions to today's most pressing problems. But if the tech industry is lacking diverse perspectives, how are we going to solve diverse problems? How are we going to use technology to the benefit of those whose problems aren’t on the mind of the average programmer and start upper?”
