The idea for a new concept of Bridge Console
To exploit the latest Seastema's developments in bridge systems high level integration for realizing a new concept of bridge console that:
- Adds value to the wheelhouse freeing volumes, creating livable spaces, opening views toward the outside
- Offers innovative wheelhouse design opportunities to yacht designers
- Allows the design of a very light console esthetically pleasing, expressing advanced technology

- Certified trackball for the radar (radar keyboard not necessary)
- Certified Autopilot integration on wheelhouse monitors (autopilot panel is
- not necessary)
- High level features of the Conning display with all sensors represented (no sensor panels are needed on the console)
Software highlight : The Graphical Application Manager (GAM)
- Designed to manage all Yacht equipment from the console.
- All displays are multifunctional to ensure the maximum level of integration and interoperability
- All this, is possible through the GAM (Graphic Application Manager) that enables the login and integration of all software applications (Navigation, Monitoring, CCTV)
Software highlight : HMI Homogeneity
- Homogenization of HMI for navigation and automation
- State of the art human machine interface with:
1. advanced graphical
2. Software multi-touch display - Centralized dimming and mode change: dimming and day/night mode are centralized and applied on all monitors
- Integrated alarm management and data exchange with all bridge systems
- Operations on the bridge easier and safer
An integrated system for the control of the whole ship from a single touch display: safer and more efficient operations
- All navigation sensors data are collected on the network and integrated in the Conning display
- The Monitoring system is connected with power generation and distribution, propulsion, machinery auxiliaries, hull and safety systems
- CCTV camera are integrated on the same network
- Bridge auxiliaries are fully integrated and easily accessible
- The functional integration between the Navigation and the Automation systems, make possible the control of the whole ship easily by a single operator station’s monitor , for safer and more efficient operations
