Today, we bring news that will turn the gaming world upside down (literally)! From Brazilian indie studio Electric Monkeys, Gravitational is an innovative VR puzzler that will force players to get creative and solve a series of increasingly clever, gravity-based puzzles, as well as present the challenges wheelchair users face in everyday life. Available today, the game follows the story of Sebastian, an ingenious scientist tasked with repairing a prototype reactor using groundbreaking, gravity-based technology after it starts malfunctioning. It's one thing to navigate a world not designed for you, it's a whole other to do it in Zero-G.
Gravitational is playable on Oculus Quest 2, Oculus Rift, Oculus S, HTC Vive, and Valve Index via #steam and Viveport. The game is also available today for #playstation VR from digital publishers Perp Games via the #playstation Store.
On behalf of Brazil Games – an export program created by the Brazilian Game Companies Association, ABRAGAMES, in partnership with Apex-Brasil, the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency, we invite you to explore the world of Gravitational and chat with the talented group at Electric Monkeys — a prominent member of the #brazilgames organization and a shining example of the fantastic work being done in Latin America's biggest gaming market.
Located in the thriving Brazilian city of São Paulo, Electric Monkeys is the gaming division of Studica Solution. After a research accident goes terribly wrong, brilliant scientist Sebastian loses the use of his legs. Undeterred, he continued to push his research for the mysterious Gravcorp and found himself on a space station working on bleeding edge, gravity-based reactor tech. When another experiment goes horribly wrong, it's up to Sebastian to find a solution — which includes mastering both the gravitational forces and the inaccessibility faced by wheelchair users in a world that isn't designed with everyone's needs in mind.
