Unleash the Monster Within in the New GvG and PvP Modes Coming to Swords of Legends Online

Comunicato Stampa disponibile solo in lingua originale.

A call to arms can be heard throughout the land of Shenzhou as the first major content update to come to the dazzling MMORPG Swords of Legends Online approaches launch! To get players ready for the November 18 release of update 1.1: The Forbidden Court, Gameforge today reveals details about the two thrilling new PvP modes, which includes a new Guild-versus-Guild zone. Battle in the Sands and the Fifty Islands of Chuyun will significantly enhance the way in which players can cooperate and battle one another in the game. In the intensity of battle and bloodshed, bonds will be strengthened, and warriors will become legends!

Battle in the Sands

In Battle in the Sands, 20 players compete across two-stage matches. The first stage is a five-minute free-for-all, where players can rack up points by slaying other warriors. At certain points in the battle, a monster stone will spawn. Picking it up will turn a player into a monster in the second stage of the match.

After the first five minutes are up, the players will be split into two teams of 10, each with a monster in their group—if no one on a team picked up the monster stone, the player with the highest score in the previous stage will become the monster. In order to win the match, the teams of 10 must now race to be the first to pick up three healing runes or have the most healing runes after 10 minutes. Runes change their location on the map every minute.

The Fifty Islands of Chuyun

The floating islands of Chuyun were created when Duke Dongyuan's artifact was broken. Join other players from your alliance to track down numerous celestial and terrestrial treasures and defeat your opponents. This map can be entered during the week to gather materials required for the alliances to participate in the GvG battles, in which major sieges and hellish warfare are the order of the day.

The weekly registration needs to be completed by the leader of a guild (known in SOLO as "alliances") within a certain period of time to secure their place in the weekend wars. Lead your noble alliance to victory as you dominate your opponents in three gripping phases. In the Fifty Islands of Chuyun, you first collect materials that you will need for subsequent siege battles against your opponents. The goal of the attackers is to conquer the defenders' stronghold and defeat the five rune spirits and ultimately destroy the soul source core, which the defenders must protect at all costs. After the battle, the ownership of each island is determined, and rewards are distributed. Fight bravely to secure exclusive mounts, titles, and accessories!
