Today, Modiphius is thrilled to announce that their recently launched Gamefound campaign for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - The Adventure Game has reached the million-dollar mark, blowing past its original funding goal of $135,000 USD.
 
The game reached its initial funding goal in less than 30 minutes after the campaign went live, and passed a million dollars within the first 10 days. Reaching the million-dollar mark has unlocked a treasure trove of Gamefound exclusive content for backers including Legendary Encounters — dangerous foes and their artifacts — such as an Ancient Frost Atronach, Storm Dwarven Centurion, and Chaurus Hunter, with rewards like the Mace of Molag Bal, Drainspell Bow, and Tsun's Armor.

A host of additional game content has been unlocked for the From the Ashes expansion and Miniatures Upgrade Set: 

  • Alternate Character Miniatures: Male Nord, Male Imperial, Female Orsimer, Female Khajiit, Female Altmer, Male Dunmer, Male Bosmer, Female Red Guard, Female Argonian, and Male Breton 
  • Ghosts of the Blades: Ghostly versions of the six base game heroes and the four Dawnguard heroes 
  • Mini Campaigns: Upgrade the game experience with new challenges such as the Dark Brotherhood Campaign, Draugr, Skeletons, and Bandits 
  • Monster Miniatures: Extra wandering monster miniatures for the Miniatures Upgrade Set making a massive 62 upgrade with a bonus skirmish game mode fully compatible with Modiphius' The Elder Scrolls: Call to Arms miniatures game

Free-Roaming in Skyrim
Looking beyond what has already been unlocked, Modiphius has unveiled the next goal: a massive Free-Roaming co-op and competitive game mode, which will be added to all copies of the base game. This will give players hundreds more hours of enjoyment in the wilds of Skyrim, and a sense of freedom on par with that of the original video game. Alongside this new mode, Modiphius will also add a 5-8 player expansion box, letting more of your friends join your soon-to-be-legendary band of heroes.

In The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - The Adventure Game, players are surviving members of the Blades, a legendary group who long protected the Empire of Tamriel, and must band together to thwart a plot to eradicate them all! Your quest across Skyrim will take you to familiar locations, and introduce you to familiar characters. Collect powerful weapons, armor, and spells in order to overcome challenges and reap the rewards. Player choice, and the ensuing successes and failures, will directly impact the outcome of the story, and the fate of Skyrim.
