CUIJK – 22nd NOVEMBER 2021. TracTive Suspension is known for its suspension products for Adventure motorbike applications and electronic suspension systems like ESA. During the past years TracTive has grown into supplying electronic damping technology to OE manufacturers like BMW. Their active damping valve technology (DDA) is nowadays the benchmark for applications like the BMW S1000RR 19-. Based on this technology TracTive is the only suspension company worldwide to supply full Plug & Play electronic aftermarket systems for many BMW motorbike models. But also for other brands, TracTive provides suspension solutions for the demanding customer, like for the Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports. On EICMA 2021 TracTive presents the following aftermarket novelties.
eX-PERIENCE set for BMW R1250GS / R1250GS Adventure 2018-
TracTive has been supplying Plug & Play electronic suspension for all BMW R1200GS models from 2005 onwards in different versions from replacement till hardcore adventure application. For the R1250GS- Autoleveling version TracTive now has developed a specific version better suited to the different electronic damping and rideheight modes of the Autoleveling versions. Full dynamic ESA functionality is maintained but with improved Road and Dynamic damping. Front shock and Rear shock have increased oil volume for thermal stability and additional compression adjusters for optimal tuneability. Front shock with 46mm piston and 16mm piston rod for increased durability. The electric preload adjuster module is really bomb-proof.
Available in different ride heights from Q1 2022.
X-TREME set for KTM 890 ADVENTURE (R) 2021- and Yamaha Ténéré 700 2019-
TracTive has been supplying X-TREME shock absorbers and closed cartridges for the adventure motorbikes. The triple adjustable shock absorber and the closed cartridge are the best choice for all-road applications due to its build and tuneability. Both front and rear suspension elements have anti-bottoming features, are sprung to the weight of rider and luggage and offer more than sufficient damping and spring preload adjustment options.
Available in lowered and long travel versions from now.
X-CHANGE PRO PDS rear shock for Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports 2020-
Honda installed the electronic EERA suspension into the Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports. While the rideheight functionality works fine, the standard spring and damping is mostly way too soft for the average adventure rider and the electronic damping adjustment range is barely noticeable. The TracTive X-CHANGE solution solves this, it is supplied with the right spring for the weight of rider and provides the perfect damping for every application by manual adjustment. At the same time the original rideheight system is retained and no errors will occur with the EERA system. Separate Low and High Speed compression adjusters for optimum tuning for different tracks. On top of the above the shock absorber contains an anti-bottoming PDSII system. This is worldwide the first suspension solution for the demanding customer.

eX-CHANGE PRO rear shock absorber for BMW R1250GS /R1250GSA 2018-
With this product the original electronic suspension ESA system is brought to a new level. It allows to use the original Autoleveling spring preload system without any conflict. A new electronic damper is added with improved damping performance due to the patented TracTive DDA valve. Adventure riders will appreciate the higher thermal stability due to the larger oil capacity (larger piston and reservoir). The extra manual adjusters allow for optimal handling for different tracks. Since the shock functions with the original connectors and motorbike controls , there is no conflict with the motorbike.
Available in lowered and long travel versions from Q1 2022
eX-CELLENT set for BMW S1000RR 2019-, S1000XR 2020-, S1000R 2021-
As only suspension company worldwide TracTive supplies full Plug & Play electronic systems for these motorbike models. The original BMW electronic suspension is manufactured by VRM Marzocchi and contains the patented TracTive DDA damping technology. The rear shock absorber and the front cartridges fit to the original connectors and offer, besides full dynamic ESA compatability, tuning capabilities like spring choice, spring preload and additional manual damping adjustments.
