The M-Sport #ford World Rally Team endured a difficult #safarirallykenya for round six of the 2022 FIA World Rally Championship, showing some great speed with four stage wins and three cars scoring vital power stage points.

The event proved to be the ultimate endurance test for the latest top-flight rally cars as the Puma Hybrid Rally1 debuted on the African continent on one of WRC's most iconic rallies. So challenging were the conditions that, despite showing stage winning pace, the best result the team could claim was sixth thanks to the efforts of #craigbreen and Paul Nagle.

The rally opened with a super special stage on the outskirts of Nairobi on Thursday evening offering huge swarms of enthusiastic fans the opportunity to witness a true spectacle. The event hit more representative roads on Friday morning as nine-time world champion, #sebastienloeb, proved his never-ending flair by taking the opening stage win of the day.

In all, M-Sport #ford Puma Hybrid Rally1s accounted for four stage wins on the rally with a stellar performance on Sunday's stages. The stage wins came courtesy of Loeb snatching a hat-trick of fastest stage times and #adrienfourmaux coming into form on Sunday morning to deliver his first stage win of the season – almost a year to the date of his maiden WRC stage win. The final day of the Kenyan classic saw M-Sport rise to the top in terms of stage times, taking three out of six stage wins, with two of those being 1-2 finishes. A final highlight of the rally came by way of the power stage delivering precious additional points as Loeb went second fastest, with #gusgreensmith fourth and Fourmaux fifth.
