MIND Shifter seeks the best startups at the intersection of technology, mobility and sustainability

SHIFT #mobility competition at IFA Berlin

• International award for young companies

• 10,000 euros for winning team

Award for the best business ideas that combine technology with #mobility and sustainability: #shiftmobility is hosting the startip competition "MIND Shifter" from September 1 to 2 as part of IFA Berlin. The initiative gives young companies an exclusive stage and brings them together with investors, partners, experts and other companies. Applications are still open until August 25, 2022. The winning company will be awarded 10,000 euros. The top ten participants will receive an attractive benefit package.

The top ten startups will have the chance to present themselves in front of a large audience, trade visitors and numerous media at IFA Berlin. They will get free access to the #shiftmobility convention in Hub 27 as well as to the exclusive reception with all speakers and partners (three tickets per startup). They will also be accepted into SHIFT Mobility's international partner network. Advertising legend Carsten Heintzsch coaches the top ten in individual workshops.

The application is informal; sending the pitch deck is sufficient (by mail to: damla.cehnioglu@messe-berlin.de). Participation is still possible until August 25, 2022. Immediately thereafter, the ten best startups will be selected. Criteria are idea, degree of innovation, feasibility, team and concept. On September 1 (press day of IFA Berlin), the live pitch of the top ten will take place as part of the #shiftmobility conference in Hub 27 on the IFA exhibition grounds. The best three teams will present themselves the next day (September 2) at the finals on the main stage. The jury will select the winning team live.

Members of the jury are Dr. Hans Hamer (CEO SHIFT Mobility), Britta Reineke (Founder ellectric), Erinn Loucks (Editor in Chief Dealerscope & connected design), Carsten Heintzsch (advertising legend), Michael Schmidt (UBS) und Nadine Hanfstein (Creative Director ramp).
