Mapping the road ahead
Hyundai and Kia drivers will experience improved in-dash navigation and an all-round safer, more comfortable drive, thanks to the collaboration between #hyundai Motor Group (HMG) and #tomtom.
All #hyundai, Kia and Genesis models in Europe will now benefit from TomTom’s high-quality traffic and map services, as well as its advanced driver assist systems (ADAS), which support HMG with Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA) regulation compliance – a requirement since July 2022.
An evolution in driver safety
Using TomTom’s ADAS data, HMG’s Highway Driving Assist technology will react to different elements of the road ahead – including its gradient, curvature, the lanes present, as well as the speed limit – and will adjust the vehicle’s speed accordingly. This will help drivers prepare for changing conditions, reducing stress and fatigue for a smoother, safer and more comfortable ride.
